Moynalvey took control of the game early on scoring 1-3 in the opening minutes of the game. Inspired by their captain Aoife Weston, Moynalvey dominated with a scoreline of 2-7 to 2 points at half time with Aoife Weston scoring 1-3 from play alongside Ann Murphy with 2 points. Moynalvey were put under very little pressure with such a strong defence including Sarah Kelly, Taylor Little and Kate Lawless.

Moynalvey opened the second half as they intended to go on with pace and strength. The duo midfield of Cheyenne O'Brien and Abbie Killalea made life very difficult for Dee Rangers. The Dee Ranger goalie had an outstanding performance denying Moynalvey several goals. However Moynalvey continued their fine performance and popped over several more points from Grainne Ryan, Kate Lawless and Katie Little. There were several girls that could have taken home player of the match but in the end it went to Sarah Kelly who scooped up every ball intended for the Moynalvey goals!

It was a great team effort from all the panel! The future looks bright for Moynalvey Ladies football!!!
