One point loss to St. Marys in Premier Championship Round 3

Ciaran Harnan removebg preview 1Moynalvey’s journey to Donore on Friday evening 30th July saw them lose out to St. Mary’s by the minimum in round three of the Div. 3 Premier Championship.

Moynalvey 4-7

The age-old adage of goals win games wasn’t to be in this game as St. Marys’ outscored their visitors sixteen scores to eleven to hold out for a one point win, one that clearly meant a lot to the home side with their first championship win in a long time.

Thank You to all involved in our Golf Classic last Friday, especially all our Teams and Tee Box Sponsors, without your support our fundraiser for the day to day running of our club wouldn't be the success it is!

Feis Cup concludes with six point win over neighbours Summerhill

ONeills Mvey 2 removebg preview 1Moynalvey defeated neighbours Summerhill by six points in round 7 of the Feis Cup at Kilmore Park Moynalvey on Wednesday evening 21st July.

This final round Group A game of the Feis Cup saw Moynalvey pick up their fourth win from their seven outings, while despite the loss Summerhill progress to a semi-final meeting with Wolfe Tones thanks to their head to head earlier round victory over Gaeil Colmcille.

Walterstown by two in Round 2 of Premier Championship

Visitors Walterstown had two points to spare over Moynalvey in Round 2 of the Div. 3 Premier Football Championship on Saturday evening 17th July.

With Walterstown arriving with only 14 players, the game was played 14-a-side.

GAA Covid Update 20/07/2021

Please note the following updates in relation to Covid-19:

Covid Return to Play Guidelines – given the increased transmissibility of the virus and levels in the community currently, it is now more important than ever that the Return to Play Guidelines issued previously are strictly followed if the playing season is to pass off successfully. There should be no indoor activity whatsoever at club level, and at county level we again strongly advise that indoor activity is limited to whatever is strictly necessary. Players and officials also need to be diligent in following travel guidelines to training and games (i.e., traveling separately whenever possible). and broadly ensuring the number of close contacts for players and members is kept to a minimum.
