Robbie Power leads Silver Birch to Grand National glory

E-mail Print PDF
Congratulations from Moynalvey GFC to former underage player Robbie Power who rode 33/1 shot Silver Birch to win the English Grand National at Aintree on Saturday last.

Robbie, 25, played underage football for Moynalvey all the way up to under 16 level before deciding to concentrate solely on pursuing a career in the horse industry. The winning horse was trained by Summerhill man Gordon Elliott.

Congratulations to all concerned.
