Moynalvey lost out to Na Fianna in this entertaining U-21 ‘A’ Football Championship Quarter Final on a 1-16 to 1-13 score line after extra time at Longwood on Sunday afternoon November 13th.

Jenkinstown Gaels got their 1st win of the year at the most important time the business end. Jenkinstown Gaels were full value for their 4 point win over a strong Carnaross/Moynalty team.

Late Oldcastle surge denies Jenkinstown Gaels Championship

Oldcastle were crowned LMFM Minor Football Championship Division 2 champions with this dramatic win over Jenkinstown Gaels at Pairc Tailteann. This was the clubs first ever minor championship title and the Liam Tolan Cup will sit nicely with the league title won earlier in the year.

Jenkinstown Gaels ensured their place in the Final of the Div. 2 Minor Football Championship with a hard earned one point win over St. Oliver’s on a 1-4 to 0-6 score line at Dunderry on Saturday afternoon 24th October.


Moynalvey lose out to the Champions by four

Moynalvey lost out to pre-championship favourites Ratoath by a four point margin at the Quarter Final stage of the U-21 Championship on a 1-16 to 2-9 score line at Ashbourne on Friday night October 31st.


Jenkinstown Minors Open League with Win

Jenkinstown Gaels got their Div. 2 minor football league campaign off to a winning start in Batterstown on Sunday. Playing with the wind in the first half the Gaels put in a workman-like performance to lead at half time on a scoreline of 1-5 to 3 points.  A Robert Lawless goal in the second quarter had put a much better reflection on the scoreboard of the how the game had been going in that first half.


Moynalvey U-21's overpowered by the Michaels

An under strength Moynalvey side lost out to St. Michaels’ in the quarter final of the U-21 ‘A’ football championship by a 10 point margin at Simonstown on Sunday afternoon November 3rd.
