Moynalvey started well and despite missing a number of chances led by 2 points at the break. Both sides swapped goals early in the second half with Shauna Devlin netting for Moynalvey before Kells stormed ahead entering the closing stages.

It was then however, that Moynalvey stepped up a gear and goals in the last 5 minutes from Tara Smith and Stephanie Thompson secured a deserved victory.
