Moynalvey completed the group stage of their U16 campaign last night May 5th, with this 5 point victory over Skryne.

Moynalvey, who fielded without 4 regulars and with a number of positional changes, took a long time to settle and trailed by a point at half time on a score line of 2-03 to 1-07. Playing with the advantage of a strong wind in the second half Moynalvey became more dominant and with 5 mintutes to go were leading by 6-11 to 2-09 before three late goals from Skryne made for an anxious last few moments. The lads now await the results of games to be played on Thursday night to see who they will play in their semi final next Tuesday night. There will also be an anxious wait to see how many of our walking wounded will be available to play.
