These two under 13 teams were very well matched exchanging scores regularly in a very even first half.
Some excellent saves by Liam Boyle and robust defending by Charlie Mc Cormack assisted by Cathal Slevin allowed moynalvey have a half-time slender lead. Paul Corcoran Dominated at mid field and made some excellent passes to the skilful Evan Clarke who got some vital scores early in the second-half. Michael Brady and Sean Deegan were full of running and Liam O Reilly made some very well thought out passes allowing Sean ruane get a great goal.
Eoin Mccabe,Sean lynch and Vinnie Walsh showed great spirit and skill and were well assisted by the tricky Conor Quinn and Craig Gilsenan who sold dummies to the slane backs allowing them penetrate into the scoring area.Liam deegan also contributed very effectively.
Moynalvey won by 7points in the end.A feature of the match was excellent manners and sportsmanship of both teams whilst still maintaining a high competitive edge.
