Moynalvey were pitched against Curraha, Ballinabrackey and Blackhall Gaels in the qualifiers. A spirited draw against Curraha was followed by a loss to Ballinabrackey. A titan...ic battle with Blackhall Gaels led to a single point victory for Moynalvey. The number crunchers worked late through the night before confirmation came through that Moynalvey had made it to the semi-finals as the best runner up out of the three leagues in Group C.

In the semi-finals Moynalvey met the winners of League 2, a very strong St. Oliver’s team. After a very tough start for Moynalvey the lads kept battling on, with some excellent  second half moves and scores. Thanks as always for the support from parents.
