PLEASE TAKE NOTE IF TRAVELLING to ALL IRELAND JUNIOR SEMI-FINAL ON SATURDAY 13th JULY!!

The Lanesboro Triathlon Club are hosting the Annual Triathlon Ireland National Series “Two Provinces Triathlon” on Saturday 13th July in the villages of Ballyleague (Roscommon) & Lanesboro (Longford).

To ensure the safety of competitors, Roscommon County Council has granted a road closure order for the R371 Strokestown Rd (Ballyleague to Scramogue) between 10.45am and 2.00 pm. The cycle part of our race takes place on this road.

The cycle will also result in some traffic disruption/delays on the N63 through the village of Lanesboro, Co. Longford between 11:00 am-1: 30 pm.

Can you please advise all your colleagues & supporters travelling to the football matches in Hyde Park, Roscommon on the Saturday of the Triathlon event. Anybody who is travelling early should please update route plans to avoid travelling via Lanesboro & Ballyleague.

We would expect all road closures/traffic disruptions to be over by 1:30 pm and Lanesboro / Ballyleague is just a 10k journey to the Hyde Park football pitch.

We apologise for any inconvenience & best of luck with the football.

Please get in touch if any further queries or concerns.

Thanks,

Regards,

Mark Kenny [Two Provinces Triathlon Race Director 2019]
