Meath Heritage TourThe Meath Heritage Cycle tour (formerly An Post) returns for its 9th year on Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th July! I would be grateful if you could share the poster attached to any interested contacts and share on your social media page. A lot of your members participate every year. This event is unique to Meath and passes through historical and scenic areas of interest.

The 11km Family Spin takes place at 5pm on Saturday 29th which is a really enjoyable event for all ages. Entries ONLY on the day from 2pm. The 50km, 100km & 160km distances take place on Sunday 30th. Our prices remain the same as last year, same great value guaranteed! Early Bird offer is open until Thursday 20th July at 12 midnight online. Anyone wishing to register manually in our office or by post should ensure that their early bird entry is received by 5pm on this day. If you are part of a cycling club – we are offering 2 places free with every 10 places booked or 1 free with every 5 places booked (that would be 10 + 2 or 5 + 1); this offers applies to cycling clubs only or registered cycling groups (must be registered with cycling Ireland).

All cyclists registering for the 50k, 100k & 160k distances will receive a souvenir jersey as part of the entry fee. This year’s jersey design celebrates the rich heritage of Meath and it`s county colours by interlacing a vivacious yellow against a vibrant teal background.  As part of the tradition of past years, the jersey promotes one of Meath’s iconic and very popular tourism sites – St John’s Castle in Trim. Check it out at http://www.meathsports.ie/cycle-tour/jersey/
