Support Paul in the Four Peaks Challenge

One of the club’s current players Paul Conneely seeks your support in fundraising for the Focus Ireland Four Peaks Challenge to be held 5th-7th June in aid of the homeless of Ireland.

Paul & a team of four of his mates, Dermot Cawley, Emer O’Keefe, Sorcha Barry & Andy Butler (aka The PEAK-ing Ducks) will bid to climb four of Ireland’s highest peaks, Carrauntoohil (Kerry), Mweelrea (Mayo), Slieve Donard (Down) and Lugnaquilla (Wicklow) totalling 11,937 feet within a three day period to raise funds for the homeless people of Ireland.

In order to compete in the event The PEAK-ing Ducks must raise a minimum of €4,500 in sponsorship before the start of May. Should you wish to donate to this worthy cause you can contact Paul directly or alternatively follow the instructions below:

1. Log on to www.focusireland.ie

2. Under the heading of Current Fundraising, Click on the Four Peaks Challenge.

3. Now click on sponsor a friend on the menu on the left hand side.

4. Enter the team name The PEAK-ing Ducks or if you forget the team name click on the list of teams for the June 2009 Challenge & then select The PEAK-ing Ducks.

5. Now click on “Sponsor a Friend Now” and you will be led into a page to pledge your amount and credit card details etc..

All donations towards this very worthy cause will be greatly appreciated.
