John Donoghue earns Meath Green Star award

Moynalvey GFC would like to congratulate John Donoghue on being selected as a Meath Green Star for 2008. This team represents the top 15 players in the county during the year and was selected by members of the local media and county committee representatives. The team is made up of 7 Navan O'Mahony players, 3 St Ultans, 2 Summerhill and 1 each from Moynalvey, Wolfe Tones and Donaghmore/Ashbourne. The full team is as follows:

1 - Mark Brennan (Navan), 2 - Ciaran Lynch (St Ultans), 3 - Kevin Reilly (Navan), 4 - Cormac McGill (Donaghmore/Ashbourne), 5 - Brian Ennis (Summerhill), 6 - John Donoghue (Moynalvey), 7 - Brian Galligan (St Ultans), 8 - Barry Regan (Navan), 9 - Maurice Kennedy (Summerhill), 10 - David Bray (Navan), 11 - Stephen Bray (Navan), 12 - Henry Finnegan (Navan), 13 - Eugene Brady (St Ultans), 14 - Paddy Smyth (Navan), 15 - Cian Ward (Wolfe Tones).
