Following the decision of the GAA management committee to suspend all GAA playing and training activity with effect from 13th March 2020,
The GAA Injury Benefit Fund cover has been suspended from this date and will continue to be so until such time that playing and training activity are sanctioned for return and can resume.
This period of closure has now been extended until July 20th.

Online training and Individual training programs

The GAA Injury Benefit Fund has never provided cover and will not provide cover for injuries that occur whilst an individual is taking part in an on-line training session or an individual training program.
Should an individual sustain an injury and incur medical costs, the individual will be personally responsible for all such costs.

Our insurance doesn't extend to cover our members running on public roads in events organised by other bodies.
