FleadhLouth Volunteer Centre are managing the Fleadh Volunteer Programme on behalf of Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann in Drogheda. At least 450,000 people will be coming to Drogheda and the North East between the 12th and 19th August 2018.

They need at least 1,000 volunteers to ensure that the Fleadh is a success. They would love to involve as many members from County Meath clubs as possible. Anyone can volunteer over the age of 15 and the minimum shift commitment is just four hours.

A summary of some of the roles available below:

Sunday 12th – Sunday 18th August
Biggest need will be Thursday 16th – Sunday 19th

Friday 17th – Sunday 18th August

If clubs are interested in getting involved as a group contact Louth Volunteer Centre at 041 9809008. Members can get involved as individuals by applying online at www.volunteerlouth.ie/fleadh or if anyone is in the vicinity of Louth there are forms in all Louth County Libraries and in Louth Volunteer Offices in Drogheda and Dundalk.

Louth Volunteer Centre suggest that if members are doing their own thing and applying individually then they could still put their club name in the other information box which would mean they could still keep people as a block in the want and also that we can report on the contribution of the club to the Fleadh Volunteer Programme.
