Moynalvey went down tamely to table topping Seneschalstown in this Div. 2 B League game played at Moynalvey on Monday evening 28th May.

Moynalvey 0-5
Seneschalstown 4-8

Moynalvey were going into the game against the odds as high flying/free scoring Seneschalstown had been unbeaten in their previous five games.

The Beauparc/Yellow Furze outfit held a 2-5 to 0-1 half time lead, with Moynalvey’s solitary first half score coming from a Shaun Deering free.

Playing two thirds of the game with 14 men folowing a dismissal was never going to be easy and Seneschalstown easily maintained their unbeaten run to run out 15 points winners on a 4-8 to 0-5 score line.
