Moynalvey and Nobber proved inseparable in this Junior 'B' Football Championship Round 4 game played at Martry on Sunday afternoon July 23rd.

Moynalvey 1-13   Nobber 1-13

James Weldon had Darren Fay's charges ahead after just 30 seconds, with Sean Duggan doubling the advantage 50 seconds later. Two points from Nobber's Gordon Weldon & Colin Clarke left it level 0-2 apiece after 10 minutes.

In the blink of an eye lid Nobber had taken a four point lead with full forward Thomas McCormack first pointing and then on target for the game's first goal leaving it 1-3 to 0-2.

James O'Neill, Conor Shirren and James Weldon pointed before a well worked move saw midfielder Brian Conneely finish to the net for the game's other goal.

Further Moynalvey points from Shane McGann & James O'Neill in reply to 0-3 from Nobber saw the sides’ level at half time 1-7 apiece.

The sides were level a further three times throughout the 3rd quarter, with Moynalvey's scores coming from  Shaun Deering, Conor Shirren & James O'Neill leaving it all square 1-10 apiece 17 minutes into the second half.

Finally some light was put between the sides as a trio of unanswered Moynalvey points, one from Sean Duggan and two from James O'Neill left Moynalvey leading and looking good for the win on a 1-13 to 1-10 score line after 52 minutes.

However Moynalvey failed to score again and three Nobber points saw the sides finish 1-13 apiece to take a share of the spoils.

Best for Moynalvey were Conor Shirren, Brian Conneely, Stephen Cummins and Sean Duggan.
