An understrength Moynalvey shipped a heavy defeat to a far superior Ratoath outfit in this Div. 2 B League Round 2 game played in Ratoath on Monday evening 13^th March.

Having started the opening quarter brightly, nothing separated the sides after 19 minutes of play as the score was 0-4 apiece. From this point on the home side took the upper hand and they forged ahead to take a seven point lead at the interval, 1-8 to 0-4.

Within five minutes of the restart the game was over, as the first two scores of the second period were goals for Ratoath. Moynalvey could only muster a further solitary point, which came with the last score of the game against their rampaging opposition who ran out 20 point winners on a 4-13 to 0-5 score line.
