Its a big weekend in the 2007 Meath Junior Championship as both semi finals take place. Read on to find out what the local press make of these pairings and who they see emerging to contest the final in 2 weeks time.

Moynalvey v Moylagh

Moynalvey will feel that they have waited too long to find themselves in this position. Just one step away from a place in the JFC final and the stakes couldn’t be any higher, but the former senior side face a tough test against Moylagh. Both sides have several serious threats, but Cathal Sheridan could be the key to swinging the game in Moynalvey`s favour at Bohermeen on Sunday.

Clann na nGael v St. Brigid`s

Since the arrival of Graham Geraghty Clann na nGael have come on in leaps and bounds. His presence has inspired those around him and players like Shane McAnarney and Micheal Priest have excelled. St. Brigid`s have exceeded expectations having won the Junior B last year. Next Sunday in Kilskyre might be the end of their journey.

Verdict - Clann na nGael.
